Cardiothoracic Surgery - Full Time NP/PA

Coordinate, provide, and assist in providing comprehensive quality patient care to Cardiothoracic patients in collaboration with a supervising physician. Perform assessments, diagnosis, treatment, education, referral, and consultation while maintaining clinical competency for patients of all ages and special needs. Manage inpatient care by working with MDs, APPs, and ancillary staff for care coordination and procedures including bedside talc pleurodesis, chest tube removal, and wound vac placements. Work in the inpatient setting on a daylight rotating four, 10-hour shift schedule with rotating weekend coverage, anticipating one weekend every 3-4 weeks. No OR responsibilities or call.
