Cardiothoracic surgeon needed for 24-hour call locum tenens coverage at a Level 3 trauma facility on the California Pacific Coast. Responsibilities include office hours, hospital rounds, heart team meetings, and performing cardiac and thoracic procedures such as CABG, valve surgery, aortic aneurysm repair, and TAVR, as well as pleurodesis, decortication, pulmonary resection, pericardial window, tracheostomy, and mediastinoscopy in both inpatient and clinic settings. Board certification is required.
