Job Summary
Cardiothoracic surgeon needed for locum coverage in a facility located in Lebanon, KY. Responsibilities include providing coverage across inpatient, outpatient, operating room, and emergency room settings with hospital rounding, clinic management, and surgical cases. Shift structure includes day shifts with call and 24-hour call obligations; all clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system. Case load varies. Support staff includes dedicated OR team, perfusion, scrub staff, and first assist. Patient population mainly adults; location is on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification required
- MD or DO degree in medicine
- Cardiothoracic surgery board certification
- Experience in inpatient/outpatient OR ER settings preferred
