Job Summary
Cardiothoracic Radiologist sought to join Carilion Clinic in the Roanoke/California area as a BC/BE fellowship trained radiologist with subspecialty focus. Responsibilities include a case mix of subspecialty and general radiology worklist assignments, covering a busy level-one trauma and accredited thrombectomy-capable stroke center hospital with MSK/Neuro/Chest/Body imaging (CT/US/Radiographs). Light teaching of medical students and non-radiology residents, participation in tumor boards, and quality-improvement activities are expected; academic appointment at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine is available. Research participation is optional with dedicated resources for IRB and patient enrollment support. No mammography beyond the already listed subspecialties. Administrative and scheduling tools include SECTRA PACS, EPIC EMR, Powerscribe, and Qgenda; equipped with Siemens MRI platforms and advanced imaging equipment. A relocation allowance is provided, and clinicians are eligible for PSLF and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and flexible spending accounts.
