Job Summary
Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations, and the sales team to coordinate patient care plans for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies. Provide infusion training and clinical support to patients and caregivers initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies in a one-on-one setting. Develop deep relationships with patients while utilizing advanced computer skills to interact with key partners. Participate in an on-call rotation for weekend coverage approximately once every 4-6 weeks, with travel comprising about 70% of the time via car or airplane to see patients and support the sales team. Required Qualifications
- Must live within one hour of Charleston International airport
- Registered Nurse with a current unrestricted license in the state of SC with ability to obtain additional licensure for multi-state service area
- Two years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home infusion experience
- Have and maintain current CPR certification
- Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance
- Participate in the on call rotation as determined by staffing and business needs
- Ability to build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel
- Ability to travel as noted in the position summary and as business needs require
- RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in caring for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension – PAH
- Home healthcare and pediatric experience
- CRNI certification
- Bilingual - Spanish
