Job Summary
Provide comprehensive inpatient cardiovascular care during day shift (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) and night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), delivering non-ICU general cardiology floor coverage. Round on all floor-level patients, complete progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, consults, and discharges, while ordering medications, tests, and procedures as appropriate. Perform new consults alongside the attending physician, managing patients primarily on step-down and cardiology units with support from Hospitalist Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonary Critical Care, and Cardiovascular Surgery services. This assignment offers exposure to Asheville's prominent attractions including the Biltmore Estate and Blue Ridge Parkway.
Required Qualifications
- Cardiology physician associate
- Inpatient cardiac care services
- Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
