Cardiology Stepdown Registered Nurse

Provide high-quality cardiology stepdown nursing for adults transitioning from intensive care to a stepdown level of care, with a strong focus on complex cardiac conditions such as heart failure and post-cardiac procedure recovery. Responsibilities include continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation, management of cardiac medications per protocol, development and implementation of individualized care plans, patient and family education on cardiac disease and medication adherence, collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, accurate documentation in the electronic health record, and participation in quality and safety initiatives.
