Cardiology Stepdown Registered Nurse

Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. Perform procedures, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and administer prescribed medications while ensuring thorough documentation. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications, translating complex terminology to ensure complete understanding. Collaborate with medical providers to deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care following established nursing models. Maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing and hold a BLS Healthcare Provider certificate.
