Job Summary
Cardiology Registered Nurse providing patient care in a cardiology specialty clinic, assisting physicians with patient care and clerical/organizational duties, communicating results, managing ECG rhythm interpretation, pacemaker interrogation uploads to EMR, facilitating stress echocardiography, medication administration, monitoring for deterioration and responding to cardiac emergencies, maintaining equipment and crash cart supplies, ensuring safety standards, assisting with clerical tasks and coordinating with supervisors to support daily clinic operations. Working hours are 40 per week at the CenterWell Cardiology site in The Villages, FL.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- A diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Minimum 1-3 years of cardiac care, critical care or clinical setting with ECG rhythm interpretation
- BLS and ACLS certification and current health records with appropriate immunizations (hepatitis B and tuberculosis)
