Job Summary
Cardiology Physician Assistant (Full-time). Outpatient cardiology with occasional inpatient weekend rotation; duties include conducting comprehensive histories and physicals, ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests, writing orders for medications, treatments, tests and IV fluids, and providing continuity of care. May diagnose and manage acute episodic and chronic illnesses, follow-up for pacemaker/defibrillator care, and preliminary interpretation of EKGs with physician overread. May order, conduct, interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities and attention to detail are essential. Required Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification is required
- Active, unrestricted FL license (or the ability to obtain FL license) is required
