Job Summary
Coordinate patient care and clinical operations for a U.S.-based cardiology team, managing scheduling, reminders, and follow-up workflows within EMR/EHR systems. Conduct telephonic or remote outreach to reinforce care instructions and support patients navigating cardiology pathways, including CHF management protocols. Track testing schedules, coordinate with the clinical team for continuity across a caseload of 150+ patients, and escalate clinical concerns within scope. Maintain accurate clinical documentation ensuring HIPAA compliance and assist with billing and insurance coordination. This full-time remote role requires U.S. business hours (CST), USD 5–6 per hour, and a clinical background such as CNA, MA, or RN. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical healthcare background: CNA, MA, RN, or equivalent credential
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare, telehealth, or medical office settings
- Experience in care coordination or care management, preferably in telephonic or remote settings
- B2+ English proficiency | B2+ Spanish proficiency (bilingual required)
- Experience using EMR/EHR systems
- Strong patient-centered communication skills
- Ability to work U.S. business hours (CT)
- Strong written and verbal English communication; assessed at screening
Desired Qualifications
- Cardiology-specific experience
- Experience in cardiology, med-surg, ICU, cardiac step-down, CCU, or home health settings
- Outpatient cardiology, home health, or telemedicine experience
- Remote patient monitoring exposure
- Medical billing or prior authorization knowledge
- Prior experience working as a contractor or in startup/evolving environments
