Job Summary
Cardiology Patient Care Representative duties include interacting with patients, hospitals and physician offices by telephone and email, obtaining patient identification and history, reviewing fax requests from referring physicians, and strategically scheduling/rescheduling to optimize efficiency and reduce patient wait time. The role requires reviewing and adhering to changing policies, addressing patient inquiries, and preparing or organizing reports or statistics as needed. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or a Medical Office Administration diploma, proficiency in MS Office, ability to work varying shifts and travel to multiple locations, strong communication skills, and a professional, team-oriented attitude. Relocation benefits are available. The position is offered with a hiring range of $18-$20 per hour, with compensation determined by location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
