Job Summary
Conduct high-complexity cardiology services at a VA Medical Center, interpreting transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and performing transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions. Expand the Cardiology imaging program while collaborating with a patient-focused team including Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Pharmacists. Work a Monday-Friday schedule with light call at an advanced cardiac center featuring Cath/Electrophysiology labs and Cardiac Surgery. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship
- BE/BC American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Cardiovascular Disease
- Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia
- United States Citizenship
- Selective Service Registration (for males born after 12/31/1959)
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
