Job Summary

Conduct high-complexity cardiology services at a VA Medical Center with onsite access to clinical pharmacists, Nurse Practitioners, and advanced cardiac labs including Cath and Electrophysiology. Interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions, while expanding the imaging program. Work a Monday-Friday schedule with light call and join a fellowship program offering academic appointment opportunities. Located in Indianapolis, this role requires an MD or DO with ACGME Cardiology fellowship and ABIM certification.

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship
  • BE/BC American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Cardiovascular Disease
  • Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia
  • United States Citizenship
  • Selective Service Registration (for males born after 12/31/1959)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
