Job Summary
General Cardiologist sought to expand the imaging program at a high-complexity VA Medical Center in downtown Indianapolis. Opportunity to interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions. Schedule is Monday–Friday with light call. Access to Clinical Pharmacists onsite and a team that includes Nurse Practitioners. Advanced Cardiac center with Cath/Electrophysiology labs, Cardiac Surgery, and imaging onsite. Includes involvement with a Cardiology fellowship program and teaching service with potential for academic appointment. Located in Indianapolis, IN, with vibrant community and cost of living. Background check/security clearance and drug screening may be required. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of ACGME-accredited Cardiology fellowship
- BE/BC American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Cardiovascular Disease
- Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States or District of Columbia
