Job Summary
General Cardiologist opportunity focused on developing/imaging Cardiology program and interpreting transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and possibly transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions; Monday–Friday schedule with light call; access to Clinical Pharmacists and a team including Nurse Practitioners; advanced cardiac center with Cath/Electrophysiology labs, Cardiac Surgery and imaging onsite; cardiology fellowship program with potential academic appointment; located in Indianapolis, IN; VA offers comprehensive benefits and possible parental leave; background check and security clearance may be required.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship
- BE/BC American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Cardiovascular Disease
- Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. state or D.C.
