Job Summary
Cardiology opportunity with imaging in downtown Indianapolis: join a high-complexity VA Medical Center program, focus on expanding the Cardiology imaging program with proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, participate in an advanced cardiac center with Cath/Electrophysiology labs and imaging services, and enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with light call. The role offers potential academic appointment and affiliation with a Cardiology fellowship program, with access to on-site clinical pharmacists and a multidisciplinary team including nurse practitioners. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, this position emphasizes patient-focused care, advanced imaging capabilities, and opportunities for teaching and clinical collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship
- BE/BC American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Cardiovascular Disease
- Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
Additional Requirements
- United States Citizenship Required; Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
