Job Summary
General Cardiology opportunity focused on imaging in a high-volume VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. Responsibilities include expanding the Cardiology imaging program with capabilities to interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions. Schedule is Monday–Friday with light call. Team includes clinical pharmacists, Nurse Practitioners, and an academic environment with a Cardiology fellowship program and potential for academic appointment. Onsite imaging and advanced cardiac center facilities, including Cath/Electrophysiology labs, Cardiac Surgery, and imaging, support a comprehensive cardiovascular service line. Qualifications require an MD or DO, completed Cardiology fellowship, ABIM Cardiovascular Disease certification, and an unrestricted medical license. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship
- BE/BC American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Cardiovascular Disease
- Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
