Job Summary
Outpatient Cardiology role focusing on cardiac follow-ups, EKG interpretation, and chronic cardiovascular disease management within a lean, collaborative cardiology team. Cardiology NP or PA works with 1 Cardiologist, 1 PA, AI scribe, and MA support to provide autonomous yet physician-supported patient care. Responsibilities include cardiac follow-ups, interpreting EKGs, surgical clearance evaluations, and managing chronic cardiovascular conditions. Flexible scheduling with a 4-day workweek option; base salary around $135K+ with $135K-$182K+ depending on experience, plus $10K-$15K sign-on, $10K relocation assistance, 34 days PTO, CME allowance and licensure reimbursement. Location: outpatient cardiology in Oregon’s Willamette Valley (Salem area) with strong community-hospital culture and rural access mission.
Required Qualifications
- NP or PA certification required
- 1–2+ years of Cardiology or Internal Medicine experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently in an outpatient setting
- Strong communication and patient relationship skills
- Experience interpreting EKGs strongly preferred
