Job Summary
Cardiology Nurse Practitioner locum tenens needed to cover inpatient cardiology service in Asheville, NC. Responsibilities include rounding on cardiology patients, admissions, consults, discharges, and performing procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, and cardioversions; order medications, tests, and additional procedures as needed; collaborate with Hospitalist Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonary Critical Care, and Cardiovascular Surgery teams. Schedule features 12-hour day shifts, seven days a week during the assignment window with Cerner EMR.
