Job Summary
Round on all cardiology patients, perform admissions, consults, discharges, and procedures including arterial lines, central lines, and cardioversions. Order medications, tests, and procedures as needed while maintaining an active NC license and NC DEA. Work 12-hour day shifts, seven days a week, from September 1 to December 31, 2025, using Cerner as the EMR. Support is provided by Hospitalist Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonary Critical Care, and Cardiovascular Surgery teams.
Required Qualifications
- Active NC license
- NC DEA
- Board Certification (negotiable)
- Cardiology NP experience
- Cerner EMR experience
- Prescriptive authority
- Availability for 12-hour day shifts
- Availability for seven days a week
- Availability from September 1 to December 31, 2025
