Job Summary
Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for locum-tenens coverage in Asheville, NC. Duties include rounding on cardiology patients, admissions, consults, discharges, and procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, and cardioversions; and ordering medications and tests as needed. Work is 12-hour day shifts, seven days a week, in an inpatient setting with support from Hospitalist Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonary Critical Care, and Cardiovascular Surgery teams. Requires active NC license and NC DEA, and Cerner as the EMR. Prescriptive authority is required. Location options include Asheville and New Hill, NC (on-site).

- Cardiology NP experience preferred

- Cerner EMR experience
