Job Summary
Conduct cardiovascular assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized care plans for patients in the Bronx. Collaborate with cardiologists to manage chronic and acute cardiac issues while ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms and Holter monitors. Educate patients on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and medication management, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with practice standards. Requires a Master's or Doctoral degree, active NY license, and minimum one year of outpatient cardiology experience. Full-time or part-time roles (minimum 3 days/week) offer competitive pay, benefits, and travel reimbursement within the NYC boroughs.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active NY State Nurse Practitioner License
- Board Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient cardiology Nurse Practitioner experience in an outpatient setting
- Must be open to traveling within the boroughs of NY
- Proficiency in EHR systems
- Proficiency in cardiac diagnostics (e.g., EKG, stress tests)
