Job Summary
General non-invasive cardiologist sought to join Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Heart Institute in Boise. The role entails joining a 20-physician cardiovascular group, working primarily at the main campus with outreach clinics one to two times per month. Nuclear cardiology skills are preferred but not required; echo board certification is preferred but not required; cardiac catheterization skills are not required. The package includes sign-on incentives, student loan repayment, relocation, PTO & CME, malpractice insurance with tail, health/dental/vision, and retirement benefits. Call is 1:7 (general) with back-up interventional call 1:5.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited cardiovascular disease residency and fellowship
- Board certification through ABIM in Cardiovascular Diseases or AOBIM with CSQ in Cardiology (or obtain within 3 years)
- Current, unrestricted full medical license in Idaho and Oregon
- Granting of privileges at SARMC-Boise and affiliated hospitals as needed
- Hospital privileges for electrocardiograms, heart monitors, echocardiogram interpretation, stress treadmill testing & supervision, stress echo, defibrillator and pacemaker checks, transesophageal echocardiography
