Job Summary
General non-invasive cardiology opportunity at Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Boise with outreach clinics; join a 20-physician cardiovascular group within a comprehensive program featuring a Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, and advanced structural/hemodynamic capabilities. The role emphasizes outpatient and on-campus duties with limited call, traditional Monday–Friday hours, and integration across a large health system. Responsibilities include clinical cardiology duties, echocardiography interpretation, stress testing and supervision, electrocardiography, defibrillator/pacemaker checks, and transesophageal echocardiography, with opportunities in nuclear cardiology and watchman/PFO/ASD considerations. Candidates should have MD/DO credentials, ABIM/AOBIM cardiovascular certification or CSQ pathway, and Idaho-Oregon medical licensure with privileges at affiliated hospitals. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- ACGME or AOA accredited cardiovascular disease residency and fellowship
- Board certification through ABIM in Cardiovascular Diseases OR AOBIM with CSQ in Cardiology (or obtain certification within 3 years)
- Current, unrestricted full license in Idaho and Oregon to practice medicine
- Privileges granting at SARMC-Boise and affiliated hospitals; DEA registration; hospital staff privileges including ECGs, heart monitors and echocardiogram interpretation
- Nuclear cardiology skills preferred but not required; echo board certification preferred but not required; cardiac catheterization skills not required
