Job Summary
General Cardiologist sought to join Veteran Health Indiana in downtown Indianapolis. Responsibilities include expanding the Cardiology imaging program with capabilities to interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions. The role supports a high-complexity VA Medical Center with an advanced cardiac center that includes Cath/Electrophysiology labs, Cardiac Surgery, and imaging onsite. Schedule is Monday–Friday with light call. Opportunities for academic appointment and teaching, an affiliation with a Cardiology fellowship program, and collaboration with Clinical Pharmacists and Nurse Practitioners. Requires MD/DO, completion of an ACGME Cardiology fellowship, ABIM Cardiovascular Disease certification, and an unrestricted U.S. medical license. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship
- BE/BC American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Cardiovascular Disease
- Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia
