Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive cardiology services including ECGs, stress testing, nuclear medicine, echocardiography, and pacemaker interrogations for in-patients and clinic patients. Manage rounds as needed, follow up after diagnostic testing, and consult with established hospitalists for the majority of admissions. Utilize authorized nuclear medicine license for nuclear cardiology services and develop relationships with ER physicians and community providers. Work Monday through Friday excluding holidays in a relaxed, family atmosphere with local support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Cardiology services experience
- General, noninvasive Cardiologist
- Invasive/interventional Cardiologist
- Monday through Friday except holidays availability
- Authorized user on the nuclear medicine license for nuclear cardiology services
- ECG monitoring and management
- Stress Testing management
- Nuclear Medicine Stress Testing management
- Echocardiography management
- Transesophageal Echocardiography management
- Carotid Dopplers management
- Arterial / Venous Extremity Exams management
- Holter Monitoring management
- Event Monitoring management
- Loop Recorder Placement
- CT Calcium Scoring Exams management
- Cardioversions management
