Job Summary
Provide comprehensive coronary interventional cardiology services, including complex PCI and high-risk interventions, within a collaborative, high-volume academic environment. Manage inpatient and outpatient care while participating in multidisciplinary conferences and shared interventional cardiology call coverage. Teach fellows, residents, and medical students alongside opportunities for clinical research, quality initiatives, and program development. Deliver clinical service at the main academic medical center and satellite hospitals within the Loma Linda University Health system. This role supports procedural growth and patient access across an integrated academic health system in Southern California.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
- Board certification/eligibility in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
- Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
- Expertise or demonstrated interest in complex coronary intervention (CHIP)
- Strong interest in academic medicine, teaching, and clinical excellence
- Along with an academic appointment within the Loma Linda University School of Medicine
- California residency is required upon start date
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in CHIP procedures, mechanical circulatory support, and peripheral arterial interventions
- Interest in peripheral vascular interventions preferred
