Job Summary
Conduct coronary and peripheral interventions, including complex procedures with hemodynamic support, and attend the CVICU service. Provide STEMI coverage on a 1:4 schedule along with weekend call rotations. Teach residents and interventional fellows across the clinic, cath lab, and ICU. Requires board certification in cardiovascular disease with additional fellowship training and board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology. Academic teaching experience is necessary. Located at the 636-bed Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple, a top-20 teaching hospital in the country.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship trained
- BC/BE
- Interventional Cardiologist
- Board certified in cardiovascular disease
- Board certification/eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Passion to teach
- Work with general cardiology and interventional fellows in the clinic, cath lab and ICU
