Job Summary
Oversee APP scheduling, workload distribution, and staffing while acting as a clinical mentor to provide education, feedback, and coaching. Serve as a liaison between advanced practice providers, cardiologists, nursing, and leadership to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain an active clinical practice by performing comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, and managing patient care. Partner with interdisciplinary teams to advance clinical quality and process improvement initiatives within the cardiology program. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00a – 4:30p, with no call requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- 1-2 years of advance clinical practice experience
- Certified by National Credentialing body in respective area of specialty
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days
- high level of problem solving due to the complexity of the clinical situations encountered
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
