Job Summary

Oversee APP scheduling, workload distribution, and staffing while serving as a clinical expert and mentor to support growth and performance. Provide education, feedback, and coaching to Advanced Practice Providers, acting as a liaison between APPs, cardiologists, nursing, and hospital leadership to ensure seamless patient care across trauma services. Maintain an active clinical practice by performing comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, and managing patient care. Partner with attending physicians and interdisciplinary teams to advance clinical quality and process improvement initiatives within the cardiology program. Manage Cardiology APPs in Montgomery County and the MMMC/Olney office. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00a – 4:30p.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • 1-2 years of advance clinical practice experience
  • Certified by National Credentialing body in respective area of specialty
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
  • CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days
  • high level of problem solving due to the complexity of the clinical situations encountered
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
