Job Summary
Advanced Care Providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) to join the Cardiology team. Responsibilities include patient assessment and diagnosis, treatment and management, health promotion and disease prevention, collaborative care with interdisciplinary teams, and clinical skills such as phlebotomy, IV insertion, holter placements, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and EKG. Documentation, regulatory compliance, and form completion (e.g., radiology questionnaires) are also required. Requires NYS NP or PA licensure, 5+ years of practice, BLS and ACLS, and weekend availability. 4 days x 10-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS license as an NP or PA in specialty
- 5+ years experience as practicing NP or PA-C
- BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Availability to be flexible with weekend coverage
