Job Summary
Evaluate patients through interviews and observations, administer or request diagnostic testing, and analyze data to diagnose cardiovascular or sleep disorders. Collaborate with medical staff to determine treatment plans, establish patient goals, and prescribe medications while monitoring intake. Document records, counsel patients on recovery methods, and educate families regarding progress and future objectives. Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease/Sleep Medicine and an active NY license are required. Salary ranges from $400,000 to $600,000 with visa sponsorship available. Full-time and part-time schedules are offered with comprehensive benefits including CME and local commuting support.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease/Sleep Medicine
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Cardiology
- Successful completion of an approved Cardiology residency training program
- Active License
- Current New York State Medical Practitioner License
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing
- Experience with ECG, Echo, Stress Testing
Desired Qualifications
- Nuclear, CT, Vascular (RPVI), procedural, or research experience
- Bilingual (Spanish / English)
