Job Summary
Oversee non-invasive cardiology services, including interpretation of outpatient testing such as echocardiograms, cardiac monitors, and stress tests. Conduct inpatient consultations and collaborate with primary care providers, Emergency physicians, and hospitalists. Support and read final reports for stress lab testing, including stress echos, and serve as a Cardiac Rehab Program supporter by reviewing and signing notes. Perform cardioversion and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) where applicable. Work closely with the cardiac device clinic two days per week to support pacemaker and ICD management across five device brands. This outpatient-focused role includes no call, offering a work-life balance ideal for rural living in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Cardiology
- Proficient in reading cardiac monitors, echocardiograms, and stress tests
- Experience managing various cardiovascular conditions for adult patients (18+ years)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Vermont
