Job Summary
Cardiologist for remote interpretation of cardiac diagnostic tests in a Brooklyn multi-specialty practice. Reading responsibility includes EKGs, echocardiograms, Holter monitors, and stress tests with timely, accurate reporting and documentation. Flexible 1099 independent contractor role offering part-time to full-time hours. Requires MD in Cardiology, active NY license, board-certified or eligible, and ability to interpret a range of cardiac studies. Collaboration with referring physicians within a multi-specialty setting; no direct patient interaction.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) specialized in Cardiology
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted New York State medical license
- Experience: New graduates welcome; experience in diagnostic cardiology or reading cardiac tests is a plus; hospital affiliation required
- Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology
- Proficiency in interpreting EKGs, echocardiograms, Holter monitors, stress tests, and other cardiac diagnostics
- Technical Skills: Ability to interpret Echo, Carotid, Transcranial Doppler (TCD), Abdominal Aorta, Renal Doppler, and Lower Extremity studies
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent written communication for clear reporting
