Job Summary
Cardiologist for Brooklyn-based multi-specialty practice with remote diagnostic-reading duties; 1099 independent contractor; part-time to full-time. Role focuses on interpretation of cardiac diagnostic tests (EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitors) and producing accurate diagnostic reports for collaboration with referring physicians. Requires MD in Cardiology, NY license, board-certified/eligible, ability to work independently, and strong reporting skills. Flexible scheduling with emphasis on volume-based compensation; remote work option available in Brooklyn, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) specialized in Cardiology
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted New York State medical license
- Experience: New graduates welcome; experience in diagnostic cardiology or reading cardiac tests is a plus; Hospital Affiliation
- Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology
- Proficiency in interpreting Echo, Carotid, Transcranial Doppler (TCD), Abdominal Aorta, Renal Doppler, and Lower Extremity studies
