Job Summary
Provide non-invasive cardiology services including oversight and interpretation of outpatient testing such as echocardiograms, cardiac monitors, and stress testing. Conduct inpatient consultations and collaborate with primary care providers, Emergency physicians, and hospitalists. Support and read final reports for stress lab testing, including stress echos, and serve as a Cardiac Rehab Program supporter. Perform cardioversion and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) where applicable. Work closely with the cardiac device clinic two days per week to support pacemaker and ICD management across five device brands. This outpatient schedule includes no call, allowing focus on adult cardiovascular care within a collaborative, not-for-profit rural hospital environment serving over 30,000 people in Vermont.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Cardiology
- Proficient in reading cardiac monitors, echocardiograms, and stress tests
- Experience managing various cardiovascular conditions for adult patients (18+ years)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Vermont
