Cardio Thoracic ICU RN

Conduct admission and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions, providing comprehensive physical, psychological, and spiritual care while notifying physicians of critical changes. Design, direct, and document individualized care plans, including patient/family teaching and safe discharge transitions, while implementing medication safety protocols and physician orders. Reassess patients at appropriate intervals following interventions to adjust nursing care for emerging needs, and provide accurate bedside shift reports with family participation to ensure continuity. Requires BSN, one year of RN experience, and ACLS certification within six months.
