Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist - Per Diem

Per diem Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist operates transthoracic and Stress Echocardiography imaging systems to evaluate chamber measurements, blood flow, and cardiac function in adult/geriatric patients. Responsibilities include patient meet/greet, reviewing history and supporting data, patient prep and monitoring, image acquisition with proper knobology and transducer selection, documentation via Technical Sonographer Report, administration of ultrasound enhancement agent as needed, IV insertion when required, and providing proctoring/training for fellows, students, interns, and trainees. Participates in echocardiography performance improvement initiatives, adheres to department policies and safety standards, communicates with directors and colleagues, reports equipment issues, and supports readiness for emergencies. Minimum qualifications emphasize a High School Diploma/GED with Cardiac Ultrasound training and registry and/or a Technical School Diploma with registry, plus relevant experience and ARDMS/CCI/ABMS credentials and BLS.
