Job Summary

Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients with general or complex cardiac conditions, including Adult Congenital Heart Disease, across inpatient and outpatient settings. Travel to eight locations including Baltimore, Annapolis, and Bethesda. Complete a high school diploma or GED, hold an ARDMS registration, and maintain a CPR card within three months of employment. Gain six months of scanning experience and obtain a pediatric echocardiography registry within two years. Work full-time hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday and Sunday coverage from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Completion of approved curriculum in diagnostic sonography
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • CPR card within three (3) months of employment
  • Six (6) months of scanning experience (clinical or student)
  • Must obtain pediatric echocardiography registry within two (2) years
  • Authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship required)
  • Ability to travel to eight (8) locations – Baltimore, Annapolis, Towson (GBMC), Westminster, Columbia, Frederick, Water's Edge, and Hagerstown
  • Availability for rotating Saturday and Sunday coverage (8:00am – 12:00pm)
  • Ability to work Monday – Friday shifts (8:00am – 4:30pm)
  • Full Time (40 hours) availability
