Job Summary
Assess patient and family health problems while developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive nursing care plans. Provide safe, evidence-based care by organizing and prioritizing patient activities, adapting swiftly to changes in conditions such as lab results and vitals. Utilize SBAR for physician notifications and conduct bedside nurse-to-nurse reports. Document assessments, reassessments, and interventions within established timeframes, delegating tasks appropriately and involving patients in care plans through therapeutic communication. Maintain cultural sensitivity by addressing issues and escalating concerns as needed. Requires one year of RN experience, BLS, and ACLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year RN experience
- ADN, Diploma, or Foreign Equivalent
- Registered Nurse: AZ
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 months
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- One (1) year medical/surgical intensive care experience
