Cardiac Technician

Perform 15-lead electrocardiograms, including Rhythm Strips, Atrial ECGs, and Esophageal ECGs, and place charge and credits with appropriate documentation. Conduct 24-hour Cardioscan Analysis and operate the MUSE System for data acquisition from ECG carts. Respond to STAT calls and attend staff meetings while assisting the Cardiology Fellow and Exercise Physiologist. Care for patients ranging from neonates to adults, including inpatients and outpatients, and clean patient care equipment weekly. Distribute reports to ordering physicians within 24 hours of physician interpretation. Complete service item charge forms for each test performed.
