Cardiac Surgery Team Surgical Technician

Job Summary
Prepare the operating room and surgical team by setting up sterile equipment, instruments, and drapes while maintaining aseptic principles. Assist the surgical team with scrubbing, gowning, and gloving, and help position and drape patients under the direction of qualified practitioners. Transfer patients to the operating table and support anesthesia personnel as needed. Ensure patient comfort and safety measures are implemented throughout the procedure. This role requires graduation from an ARC-ST accredited surgical technology program, WA Surgical Technologist registration, and current Basic Life Support certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from surgical technology program accredited through Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology ARC-ST.
- Surgical Technologist Registration: WA
- Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- RN License: WA
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of OR experience
- 6 months of Cardiac experience
