Job Summary
Round on post-op patients and provide office consults one day per week with a designated surgeon. Perform EVH and chest closure in the OR, manage thoracentesis and chest tube insertion and care, and provide care to LVAD patients. This PRN Cardiac Surgery role at Piedmont Augusta Hospital involves working shifts as needed alongside respected physicians in the nation's leading cardiology program.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of cardiac surgery/EVH experience
- Masters, Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
