Job Summary
Round on postop patients, provide office consults one day per week with a designated surgeon, and perform EVH and chest closure in the OR. Manage thoracentesis, chest tube insertion and care, and provide care to LVAD patients. Requires 1-2 years of cardiac surgery or EVH experience, a Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program with National Board Certification, or a Georgia-licensed NP with National Certification. This PRN opportunity places you within a team of thirteen advanced practice providers at Piedmont Heart Institute, one of the nation's leading cardiology programs offering dedicated electrophysiology, transplant, and advanced heart failure services.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of cardiac surgery/EVH experience
- Masters, Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
