Job Summary
Distributor Sales Representative for Cardiac Surgery and Peripheral therapies responsible for expanding access to advanced Medtronic technologies across Egypt. The role focuses on driving sales growth and market development through daily engagement with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and distributor partners, building strong clinical and commercial relationships with cardiac and vascular surgeons, interventional specialists, and procurement teams, and supporting product launches, education, case support, and technical guidance. Responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, monitoring market dynamics, executing strategic plans to increase market share, managing distributor relationships for optimal coverage and efficiency, maintaining accurate sales forecasting and territory performance reporting, and ensuring compliance with company standards. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 7+ years in medical devices or healthcare sales (2+ years in distributor management), and strong English communication, presentation, and influencing skills, along with solid business acumen and ability to engage with diverse healthcare stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in medical devices or healthcare sales
- Experience in distributor management (at least 2 years)
- Strong command of English (spoken and written)
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Ability to build trust across diverse customer groups
- Clinical and commercial relationship-building with healthcare professionals and procurement teams
- Ability to identify opportunities, develop and execute sales plans
- Territory coverage and travel readiness
