Cardiac Surgery PCU Registered Nurse

Provides direct patient care in the Cardiac Surgery PCU, including assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of care plans; delivers education to patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs; collaborates with an interprofessional team to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; develops, implements, and documents individual care plans with defined goals; demonstrates critical thinking in a fast-paced cardiac stepdown environment and supports the patient’s progress from immediate post-op through discharge; this is a safety-sensitive RN role in a Magnet-recognized hospital with opportunities for career ladder advancement.
