Job Summary
Conduct preoperative and postoperative care for outpatient cardiac surgery patients, managing sessions of up to 10 patients daily. Perform minor post-operative procedures including wound debridement and packing placement. Coordinate directly with five in-house physicians and four other outpatient advanced practice nurses under the supervision of a Clinical APN manager. Work M-F in alternating 10-hour shifts with one day off per week at the One Link Cardiac Surgery Office in Hackensack, NJ. Cover a leave of absence for the required nine-month term starting July 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Need provider for 9 months
- Outpatient Cardiac Surgery APP
- Must have up to date CDA
- Must have DEA
- Must have NJ license
- M-F, 4, 10 hr shifts alternating 1 day off per week
- Preoperative and postoperative cardiac surgery patients
- Sessions upwards of 10 patients per day
- Directly working with 5 other outpatient APN's
- Collegially working/conferring with Inpatient APN's / PA's
- Procedures required - minor post-operative which may include wound debridement and packing placement
