Cardiac/Stroke Clinical Nurse

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within standards of nursing care on a 31-bed cardiac/stroke unit. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including cultural and spiritual preferences. Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development. This safety-sensitive position requires a constant state of alertness.
