Communicate with the Director and House Supervisor regarding unanticipated patient care events and risk management activities. Utilize nursing personnel effectively by assisting with scheduling, staffing, and assignments while providing direction, supervision, and evaluation of staff. Assess supplies and equipment availability, ensure proper functionality, and collaborate with department managers to coordinate services and optimize patient flow. Direct staff on immediate changes to the plan of care to ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols, and interview patients and families to enhance orientation and service awareness.
